Saint Martin's University Athletics

George McKnight was a 1951 Saint Martin’s High School graduate. He was an outstanding quarterback, defensive halfback and was the high scorer on the basketball team. In track he threw the discus and shot put and was a high jumper. He was an honor student and participated in numerous activities. McKnight is a retired Air Force colonel and was a prisoner of war in Viet Nam for more than six years. He was inducted into Saint Martin's Hall of Fame in 1992.
