In 1912 and 1913, Henry Peterson won 14 games and lost just once pitching against collegiate and professional teams. In 1913, he pitched seven games, won seven and had 99 strikeouts. Allowing only 10 hits in the seven games, he pitched two no-hitters and three one-hit games. He also played football and was awarded the Davis Trophy as the school’s most outstanding athlete. After leaving Saint Martin’s, Peterson pitched for several seasons for Seattle in the Pacific Coast League. He was inducted into Saint Martlin's Hall of Fame in 1998.
