From 1969 to 2002, Jack Sareault was the coordinator of the Northwest College Sports Service. He held the position of NAIA District I sports information director for 28 years. Sareault also served as the Northwest Conference SID for 18 years. He was also a sportswriter for the Tacoma News Tribune for many years. His service to the conference is annually honored by the presentation of the Jack Sareault Award to honor a sports information director. In 2004, Sareault receivved the College Sports Information Directors of America Lifeltime achievement award.
