In 1999, Justin Leone batted .372 with 51 hits, 46 runs batted in and a conference leading 12 home runs. He was a first-team All-PNWAC selection his senior year and holds the distinction of hitting the first ever home run at Saints Field. Leone was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 13th round of the 1999 draft. He was named Texas League Minor League Player of the Year in 2003 while with the San Antonio Missions, earning him the Seattle Mariners Minor League Player of the Year award. Leone hit six career home runs in 32 major league games. He was inducted into Saint Martin's Hall of Fame in 2011.
