One of the most accomplished hitters in Saint Martin's Baseball history, Nate Baker enters the Hall of Fame as the all-time leader in career batting average at the university (.357). A three-time All-Conference recipient, Baker has etched his name all across the Saint Martin's record book, including third all time in career runs (122) and on base percentage (.468). He provided a career full of consistent success at the plate, including the 2008 season in which he hit .387 and the 2006 season in which he totaled 61 hits — both totals rank third in their respective season record categories in the Saint Martin's record book.
"When I got the call from Theresa Hanson, I was both surprised and extremely honored," Baker said. "Getting the opportunity to play baseball at St Martin's and developing the life long friendships that came from that experience is something that I still cherish to this day. "
