Ticket Information - SMU students get in free to all SMU home games with a valid student ID card and tickets are available for only six dollars. Seniors/Military/Non-SMU Students get in for four dollars. Children under the age of 11 get in free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling Abbey Bergquist at 360-438-4305.
 
Saints Handle Business At Doug McArthur Classic – Behind Elin Johansson's 19 points and career-high 15 rebounds, Saint Martin's defeated University of Puget Sound 74-57 for head coach Christy Martin's first NCAA victory. The Saints held Pacific Lutheran to under 30 percent from the field in a 65-45 victory to conclude the Doug McArthur Classic, hosted by Puget Sound.
 
Back-To-Back Double-Digit Victories – For the first time since the end of 2014 through the start of 2015, the Saints have won back-to-back games by 10 points or more. SMU defeated Concordia 52-42 on Dec 14, 2014 and Western Oregon 69-58 on Jan 3, 2015.
 
Johansson Continuing Offensive Tear – Johansson added 19 points and 12 points over the weekend to improve her standing in the conference leaderboard. At 15.5 points per game, Johansson ranks 5th overall in scoring.
 
Setting A New Career-High – Johansson broke her career-high in rebounds in a single game with 15 boards against Puget Sound last Friday.
 
Biola Preview – Enter the game at 1-1, the Eagles are coming off a 67-64 victory over Northwest Nazarene last week. The Saints will have to stop DeMoria White who averages 25.0 points per game, while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 41.2 percent beyond the arc. The second option for Biola is Tatum Brimley at 15.5 points per game and 3.5 rebound per game. Jazz Benn and Sara Dougan lead the attack on the boards at 5.0 and 5.5 rebounds per game. Brimley controls the offense with her team leading 4.0 assists per game. As a team, Biola is averaging 65.5 ppg, 30.5 rpg, 9.5 apg, 7.0 steals per game, .5 blocks per game and 19.0 turnovers per game.
 
Academy of Art Preview – The Urban Knights will travel to Simon Fraser before facing Saint Martin's. Art U is currently seeking their first win of the season at 0-3 on the year. The Urban Knights feature three scorers in double-digits, first with Jazzlynn Brewster at 15.7 points per game and a team-leading 3.7 assists per game. Helena Orts (14.3 ppg, 7.0 rpg) and Pre'Franz Dominick (14.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg) look to control the paint. Orts has recorded a team high 10 steals and three blocks. Art U as a team is averaging 62.0 ppg, 35.3 rpg, 11.3 apg on 18.7 turnovers per game, 8.7 steals and 3.3 blocks per game.
 
Valdosta State Preview – The Blazers face Saint Martin's after taking on Western Washington the day before. VSU is currently 2-1 on the year with wins over Fort Valley State and Albany State. Three Blazers average 10 points or more per game with Kenya Samone' Dixon at 14.5 points per game and a team-leading 11.0 rebounds per game. Madi Mitchell (13.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg) and Aaliyah Cheatham (13.3 ppg, 4.0 rpg) complete the scoring trio. Taylor Blue adds 9.0 ppg, and a team-leading 4.3 assists per game. The Blazers are averaging 72.3 ppg, 42.7 rpg, 16.3 apg on 13.0 turnovers per game, 6.7 steals per game but no blocks this season.
 
GNAC Recap – The GNAC looks stronger than ever with five teams ranked in the region and two more receiving votes. Alaska Anchorage (5-0) and Seattle Pacific (4-0) rank No. 1 and No. 2 in the region and in the conference standings. Montana State Billings (4-0) and Western Oregon (3-0) look to keep their perfect records going. Northwest Nazarene (3-1) leads one game in the loss column of Concordia, and Simon Fraser at 3-2 each. Saint Martin's, Alaska, and Western Washington all enter the week at 2-2 with Central Washington rounding out the standings at 1-3.
