Seattle Pacific Capitalizes On SMU Errors In Sweep - The Saints needed to be perfect tonight to snap the losing streak to Seattle Pacific, which extends back 2001, but nine service aces and 18 attacking errors resulted in a three set sweep by Seattle Pacific at home. Megan Vernoy put together her fourth straight match with double-digit kills, collecting 11 to lead the Saints' offense. However, the Saints' who entered the match with a GNAC best mark in serving per set, was unable to string together points and continue any momentum against the Falcons. Seattle Pacific only committed four attacking errors over the first two sets and hit .320 as a team.

MSUB Takes Season Series Over Saints - Despite outhitting the Yellowjackets 58 kills to 49, and more efficiently, .204 hitting percentage to .185, the Saints' struggles to serve continue to affect them, as MSU Billings downs the Saints in four sets. The Yellowjackets claimed the season series in Billings, winning the first set 25-22, before SMU rallied in the second set 25-19, but finishing off with a 25-22, and 25-19 set victories. Attacking and serving errors played a critical part earlier this week, and carried over on the road, as Saint Martin's finished with 25 attacking errors and nine serving errors.

Vernoy Sets A Career High In Kills – In the final match of the D-II Volleyball Showcase Tournament, Megan Vernoy put together one of her best offensive matches in her collegiate career. The senior, in 40 chances, recorded 25 skills, a new career high and was fourth most in a single game in school history. Vernoy's .550 hitting percentage led the team and was ninth best in program history.

Alyssa Bartlett Cracks 50 – The freshman setter recorded her first 50 assist match of her collegiate career, reaching 53 against Hawaii Hilo in the D-II Volleyball Showcase Tournament. Her 53 assists, which ranked 11th most in a single match in school history, helped the Saints to their first win of the season. Bartlett then reached 52 for the first time in GNAC play against Montana State Billings on September 22 at home.

Vernoy Striking At Efficient Rate -  In six matches this season, Megan Vernoy has reached the .300 hitting percentage mark. Her season high includes an impressive .550 percentage against CSU Dominguez Hills in the D-II Volleyball Showcase, where she collected a career high 25 kills.

Misner Sets A New Career High – In the four set match against Concordia on 9/13, Courtney Misner recorded 32 digs, breaking her career high. Her mark ranked tied for fifth for most digs in a single match in program history.

Kamaka Deep To Serve – With the return of Ililani Kamaka to the lineup, the Saints added one of the top servers in the conference back to their ranks. Entering the week, Kamaka sits eighth in the GNAC leaderboard with 21 aces and 0.33 aces per set. Her emergence as one of the top servers in the conference is one reason why the Saints are the second best team in GNAC in aces as a team at 1.63 per set and 122 total.
