Ticket Information – Tickets for all Saints' home games can be purchased at the gate of the event for six dollars for adults, and four for seniors, military, and kids 12 and up. All kids under the age of 12 are free. Tickets can be purchased with cash, or debit and credit card.
Marcus Pavilion and TwinStar Court – All home Saints' volleyball matches are played inside Marcus Pavilion, located on the campus of Saint Martin's. The Pavilion just celebrated its' 50th anniversary in 2017. The newly named TwinStar Court is located inside Marcus Pavilion.
Hurricane Lane Shortens Saints' Season Opening Tournament – The Saints were scheduled to play four games in Hawaii last week before Hurricane Lane hit the island with over 40 inches of rain. The water became too much and after the Saints completed two of the four matches, the tournament was called off.
Saints Travel To Sunny California For Four Matches – Part of the NCAA D-II West Region Volleyball Showcase, hosted by Academy of Art, the Saints will play four West Region opponents over the course of two days. Starting with San Francisco State and Hawaii Hilo on Friday, the matches begin at 12:30 pm and 7:30 pm respectively. On the final day, the Saints face Academy of Art and CSU Dominguez Hills at 12:30 pm and 5:15 pm respectively. Live stats and video of the matches can be found on smusaints.com.
Saints Fall In Opener To Hawaii Hilo - The opening match of the 2018 season did not go the way the Saints wanted it to, falling in three sets to host school Hawaii Hilo 25-19, 25-16, 25-18 to open the First Hawaiian Bank Volleyball Tournament. The Saints' (0-1) 21 errors and .067 attack percentage resulted in SMU unable to find their rhythm on the offensive in the first match of the year. The Vulcans (1-0) connected for 14 more kills and connected for an attacking percentage of .233 percent.
Chaminade Stops Saints' Rally In Four Sets - After falling behind two sets to none, Saints' Volleyball was able to rally in the third set with improved play by
Rachel Gondrezick,
Emily Gooding and
Ililani Kamaka, but ultimately fell 25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 25-18 to Chaminade. The Saints' (0-2) opening day of the First Hawaiian Bank Tournament and the 2018 season did not go as planned, dropping both matches on the day. Gondrezick increased her hitting percentage to .206 while picking up 11 kills, and Gooding led the team with a .273 attack percentage.

Record Watch - Some records to watch this season include Gondrezick on the all-time kills list. She entered the season at 540 kills and 593.5 points, and is only 15 kills and 124 points away from cracking the top ten in school history. Vernoy also will have an opportunity to etch her name in the history books as she is 118 kills away from making the top ten as well.
