LACEY, Wash. – Kathryn Crimp came into Saint Martin's with a lot of expectations, and the freshman did not disappoint in her first showing. Crimp leads the field after the day of the Saint Martin's Invitational with a score of 79, and leads Saint Martin's to second place start.

Crimp was the lone golfer in the field who managed to break 80, leading by one with her score of 79. She birdied the sixth and eighth hole, and was the leader on par 5 scoring with an even par.
Madie Prigge and
Katherine Swor started the season strong with 86's, which placed them tied for second on the team, and fifth overall. Rounding out the scoring for Saint Martin's was freshman
Jada French and her score of 88.
Michaela Morris closed out the five for Saint Martin's with a 94, while freshman
Josie Nickerson stood out in the individual role. Nickerson tied with Swor, and Prigge for fifth overall at 86. Newcomers
Hoku Nagamine and
Sienna Kawahara were the seventh and eighth golfers for Saint Martin's with their scores of 95 and 102 respectively.
The Saints' team score of 339 places them only six shots behind leader Northwest Nazarene (333), and 23 ahead of Hawaii Pacific (362).
