Crimp's 74 Highlights Saints' Final Round At Concordia Invitational

PORTLAND, Ore. – Kathryn Crimp continued to impress just four rounds into her first collegiate season, wrapping up the Concordia Invitational with a season-low 74 on Tuesday.

Following her team-low 80 on Monday, Crimp put together her best round of the season by shooting two-over par, 72. Crimp birdied the sixth and 14th hole, and managed par on 13 more holes. Her total of 154 placed Crimp tied for 11th overall in the field.
 
Madie Prigge and Michaela Morris, who shot 83 in the opening round, once again matched each other's performance. The two combined to 88 to finish the Invitational at 171 and tied for 40th overall.
 
Katherine Swor bounced back strong on Tuesday, shooting 11 shots better from round one to round two. Her 86 was second lowest on the team on Tuesday, and Swor placed 49th overall. Rounding out the scorecard for the Saints was Jada French, who improved from 96 to 90 for a total of 185. Playing as an individual, Josie Nickerson shot 94-91-185.
 
"The Saints improved today by six shots with Kathryn Crimp leading the way with a 74; the second best score in the entire field for the day," said co-head coach Mark Jensen. "We are very proud of the team showing improvement and a positive mental attitude."
 
The Saints moved up one spot on the team leaderboard after shooting 342-336-678, good enough for a ninth place finish.
 
Saint Martin's hits the road, traveling to California for the Sonoma State Invitational on October 14-15 for their next action.
