GNAC Standings –
French's Delivers Clutch Walk-Off Home Run – After waiting over two months to play a home game on the campus of Saint Martin's, the Saints ended the day with fireworks. Down to their final out in the seventh inning,
Alyssa French delivered the walk-off two run home run as the Saints split the doubleheader 11-3, and 6-4 against Western Washington.
Sabrina Hicks supplied the only run support in the first game, clubbing her team-leading seventh home run of the season. Her three run shot gave her 33 RBIs on the day.
Lauren Diuco made history in the second game, becoming only the eighth Saint in program history to reach the 200 career hit milestone. Western Washington trailed all second game until their final strike, when they tied the game on a RBI single. The Saints managed to get a runner on to draw up French to plate, and the senior capitalized on the opportunity. French connected on her fourth home run of the season to send the game into the night with a 6-4 victory.
Saints Have Big Day At The Plate Against Simon Fraser – Saint Martin's opened the doubleheader with an outpouring of offense, scoring 12 runs on Simon Fraser, and sealing the game in five innings. However, the Saints' fell short in the second game, leaving the tying run in scoring position in a 5-4 ballgame.
Alyssa French, coming off of hitting a walk-off home run over Western Washington on Saturday, kept the momentum going. The senior collected four hits on the day, including four RBIs, and one run scored.
Trinity Favela connected on her first collegiate career home run, driving a ball down the left field foul pole. All nine Saints' starters in game one collected at least one hit, with five having two or more.
Devyn Connolly Named To Tournament of Champions All-Tournament Team – Over the course of the five games, Connolly went 8-for-14 at the plate. The catcher also drove in four runs, hit two doubles and scored once. The award marked the first All-Tournament team in Connolly's career.

Saints Picked Sixth In Preseason Poll - Following their seventh consecutive winning season, and entering the second year under the helm of
Jim Peterson, the Saints were voted sixth in the 2019 GNAC Preseason Conference poll. Saint Martin's earned the sixth seed in the highly competitive conference, finishing only one vote behind 2018 surprise team Simon Fraser. The conference looks to be a battle between the Nighthawks (61 votes), and the Wildcats (59) for the top spot. Western Oregon and Western Washington follow behind at third and fourth respectively. Montana State Billings and Concordia round out the bottom of the standings.
Season Preview - The Saints return a core of GNAC All-Conference selections from last season, including second team selection pitcher
