WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – More consistent play from the Saints one and two golfers,
Tyler Fitchett, and
Dennis Geissler, paced the action at the second round of the Dennis Rose Invitational on Tuesday.

Fitchett matched his score from the opening day, shooting two over par 72 to finish 144. His total brings him tied for 21st heading into the final day of competition. Fitchett began with an even par front nine and concluded with two birdies on the back nine for two over.
Geissler also matched his play, going 75 in the second round after a 75 in day one. The righty carded two birdies, and sits tied for 43rd at 150 total strokes.
Nick Baker was unable to repeat his 74 from day one, going for 79 for the fourth best score of the day by the Saints.
Ethan Finau also struggled to find his day one performance, going from a 73 to 82.
Carter Sheets saw the largest improvement of any Saint, dropping six strokes from 82 to 76.
Saint Martin's currently sits in ninth place overall at 596 total strokes. The Saints lead Northwest Nazarene (600), UT Tyler (605), and Chaminade (626) entering the final round.
