LACEY, Wash. – From her very first collegiate game, there was no denying that Britney Patrick was a superstar in the making. But the freshman exceeded all expectations as she was named to the D2CCA Second Team All-Region on Tuesday.

Patrick quickly proved to be not only one of the best bats in the Saints' lineup, but one of the best in the West Region. She was named the GNAC Freshman of the Year, and first team All-Conference earlier this month.

On the year, Patrick hit .328 with five home runs, and 25 RBIs. She started all 37 games she played in, while recording 41 hits, 31 runs, and 11 doubles. Patrick led the team in just about every offensive category including batting average, hits, runs, doubles, home runs, slugging, and OPS. She was also perfect on the bases, stealing nine out of nine attempts.

The D2CCA is made of up Sports Information Directors around each region, with each member nominating and voting. All first team selections move on to All-American voting.
