SEATTLE – The Saints' offense was unable to find the flow they had last week, suffering a 3-0 defeat on the road to Seattle Pacific on Thursday night.
 
Emily Gooding and Tia Allen led the Saints' (7-6, 1-3) with eight kills each, but SMU was never able to clinch a set off the Falcons (7-5, 3-2). Saint Martin's and SPU went the distance in the third set, rallying back-and-forth until the Falcons managed to seal the match on a kill, and an SMU error.
 
Saint Martin's managed to take an 11-9 lead in the opening set before Seattle Pacific responded with five straight points. SPU never looked back and closed the set on a 16-6 run to take the early lead.
 
 Seattle Pacific gained the momentum halfway through the second set after scoring seven straight points to take a 13-9 lead. Saint Martin's cut the lead down to one on multiple occasions, but ultimately fell 25-18.
 
The Saints led the third set as late as 23-20 and looked to be on the verge on clinching the third set. However, the Falcons rallied back once again, and force extra volleyball. Seattle Pacific closed out the match on a 4-1 run.
 
Ilana Sagapolutele added six kills off the bench, while Giselle Benetti, and Kylie Alos combined for 18 digs in the back row. Alos managed three of the Saints' seven aces, and Analise Hitchcock led the way with 18 assists.
