CHAMBERS BAY, Wash. – The Saints competed in their second meet of the cross country season and placed first in the women's 5k and second in the men's 8k.

It should be noted that the race distances for both races exceeded the 5k and 8k mark. As a result the reported times in this recap have been converted to reflect the correct distances.
In the women's 5k, the Saint Martin's claimed the entire podium as Alauna Carsten (18:17) took first,
Sara Sabra (18:28) claimed second and Alisha Saucedo (19:13) rounded out the top-three.
Kya Ramirez placed ninth with a time of 20:00 and behind her,
Naomi Hartley rounded out the top five finishers for SMU with a time of 20:06.
Courtney Osborn (20:18),
Abby Burton (22:04) and
Faith Linthicum (22:14) were the final finishers for the Saints.
In the men's 8k,
Kainalu Pagente was the first finisher for SMU with a time of 25:32 for fifth place. After him,
Michael Harwell finished sixth (25:34),
Jack Farrell finished ninth (26:10),
Isaac Cortes finished tenth (26:12) and Eli Dale finished 11th (26:24) to wrap up the top-five finishers for Saint Martin's.
Rudu Wani was the next finisher for the Saints with a time of 27:17.
Ryan Lange crossed the finish line with a time of 28:19 and
Steven Baltz was right behind him with a time of 28:27.
Lance Slichko (28:46),
Jaskaran Dhatt (28:56) and
Trevor Dugo (29:08) rounded out the runners for SMU.
The Saints next meet will be Friday, October 7 at the San Francisco Invite.
