LACEY, Wash. – Nine Saints of the Softball team earned the prestigious GNAC All-Academic Award, including two-time selections
Megan Convery,
Abby Runyon, and
Kylee Vanderbout, presented by Barnes & Noble College.

Convery, a sophomore psychology major, led the second-time selections with a 3.81 GPA. Runyon, a sophomore biology major, and Vanderbout, a junior business administration major, earned their selections with 3.74 and 3.55 GPAs respectively.
Six Saints earned their first selection to the GNAC All-Academic team, led by
Britney Patrick, a sophomore business administration major, with her 3.92 GPA. Right behind Patrick was
Vanessa Smoke, a sophomore nursing major with a 3.91 GPA.
Jaeden Ells, a senior biology major, and
Malia Pinder, a sophomore business administration major, finished with 3.51 and 3.86 GPAs respectively.
Rounding out the selections for the Saints was
Tia Ridings, a sophomore psychology major, with a 3.83 GPA, and
Shaye Pinner, a junior biology major, at 3.23 GPA.
To qualify for the GNAC All-Academic Teams, presented by Barnes & Noble College, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, have a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.20 or greater, be a letterwinner on their team and must be in their second year at the nominating institution.
