COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – Max Turnquist and
Dennis Geissler took home top-five finishes after the final round of the GNAC Championships on Tuesday.

Turnquist (71-68-76-215) was unable to find the same form from the first day but managed to hang on to this second-place finish. In the final round, Turnquist recorded three birdies on holes six, 11, and 15.
Geissler (73-73-71-217) played even par in the final round but was two-under par after six holes. The veteran ended with four birdies on the afternoon.
Tyler Fitchett (73-74-74-221) played strong on the back nine, going par, with three of his four birdies coming on the final nine holes, and finished ninth on the leaderboard
Carter Sheets (78-72-80-230) and
Ethan Finau (82-75-84-241) rounded out the scorecard for the Saints with one birdie each on the day.
"Even though we did not defend our title I am pretty pleased with how we played," said head coach
Kevin Bishop. "Max and Dennis played well and finished on the all-tournament team while Tyler fought like a leader should while not having his best stuff."
Saint Martin's as a team finished third with a score of 883. The Saints outpaced Montana State Billings (888), and Northwest Nazarene (906).
