LACEY, Wash. – Saint Martin's struggled to find an answer at the plate against the Nighthawks falling in both ends of the doubleheader 8-0 and 7-1 on Saturday.

Shaye Pinner, and
Jaeden Ells.
Northwest Nazarene jumped on the Saints early in the opener, putting three runs up in the first inning. The Nighthawks continued the pressure in the third with two runs, and another two in the fourth, and finally one in the fifth.
Saint Martin's collected their lone hit of the game in the fourth inning on a one-out double from
Britney Patrick.
In the second game, Northwest Nazarene struck again first, with a run in the first. Saint Martin's responded right back, bringing in a run on a dropped third strike, scoring
