TURLOCK and ROHNERT PARK, Cali. – The Saint Martin's men's golf team have taken their final competitive swings before the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships, competing at both the Hanny Stanislaus Invite and the NCAA West Regional Preview, both in California. After a 14
th place finish at the Turlock Golf and Country Club, the boys finished in 20
th place at the Foxtail Golf Club.
The Saints were led in both tournaments by senior
Max Turnquist who finished tied for 37
th at Stanislaus before cracking a top-20 finish in Rohnert Park. His performance at the NCAA West Regional was highlighted by his shooting of a 70 in Round Two, the best of any SMU golf for either event.
Kyle Erwin also showed out well at the West Preview, finishing in a tie for 41
st with a 223.
Mason Bratcher was the second-highest Saint in Turlock, posting a 235 for 69
th.
The Saints now turn their sights on the 2023 GNAC Championships in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at the end of April. This highly decorated senior class will be primed and ready for the event, starting on April 24
th and concluding April 25
th.
