SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - In a highly anticipated season opener, the Saint Martin's Women's Volleyball team (2-0) kicked off their 2023 campaign with thrilling victories over Purdue Northwest (0-1) and Oklahoma Christian (0-2). The matches, held at Salt Lake City's Behnken Field House, saw Saint Martin's demonstrate their resilience and determination, ultimately triumphing in a four-set showdown over Purdue Northwest (23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-0) and a sweep over Oklahoma Christian (25-10, 25-18, 25-21).

Emmy Hansen's dominant performance with 14 kills, Sirena Peredo's versatile display with 11 kills and 4 aces, Maddy Gooding's imposing presence at the net with 6 blocks, and Karla Soto's orchestrating of the offense with 42 assists were all instrumental in Saint Martin's triumph.
