MONMOUTH, Oreg. – The Saint Martin's volleyball team (8-4, 2-1 GNAC) ran away for another conference win Saturday, defeating Western Oregon (7-4, 1-2 GNAC) by a score of 3-1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-20, 25-21) on the road.
Sirena Peredo led the charge by tallying another double-double going for 15 kills with 17 digs. Her kills led all players in the match, while the digs were third.
Maddy Gooding and
Emmy Hansen also each were able to tally double-digit kills with 10 each, while Hansen had a double-double herself with 11 digs alongside the kills. Abby Halstead continues to dominate the back row as the libero had 19 saves over the four sets.
Karla Soto dropped 36 assists to her fellow Saints as well as three aces.
Jennifer Soha and Hansen each added four blocks.
The Saints stay out on the road this week with matchups at Northwest Nazarene (6-6, 2-2 GNAC) and No. 15 ranked Central Washington (8-4, 2-2 GNAC) on Thursday and Saturday, respectfully.
