LACEY, WA — The Saint Martin's Women's Golf team looks forward to their 2025 portion of the season after a successful end to their fall slate of competition.

The Saints would travel to Hawai'i from Monday, October 21st through Saturday, October 26th to compete in two intercollegiate events. The Dennis Rose Invitational in Waikoloa Village would be the first competition of the trip for the Saints, and the squad would be up to the challenge. Team standout Kelsie Inouye would tie a program record for the second time in her career by shooting a two-under 70 in the tournament's second round. With a solid 76 in the first round, Inouye would finish the invitational tied for second place among all 79 competitors with a score of 146. Hannah White would tie for 32nd by scoring 77 in both rounds in an impressive effort while Ashley Bruland, Jade Rebelo, and Hailey Blancas would round out the lineup and help the Saints finish 12th out of 15 teams against top-notch competition.

Head Coach Anne Bahr had nothing but praise for Inouye after her performance at the Dennis Rose Invitational:

"I am very impressed with Kelsie's play in Hawaii, tying our program record 2-under 70 for the second time in her career. She has been so consistent and steady for all of our fall season and I know she was happy to finish the fall on a high note."

Women's Golf would head to Waimea just a few days later to compete in the Hawai'i Pacific University Shark Shootout from October 25th through the 26th. While Inouye wouldn't quite be able to reach her marks from earlier in the week, she would lead the team on the scoreboard, still finish tied for 39th with a respectable score of 157. Bruland would be right on Inouye's trail by recording a 158 in one of her best performances of the fall while White would stay close behind with a score of 160. Blancas would shoot 84 in both rounds and Rebelo would finish with a score of 176. The Saints would finish 13th out of 15 teams.

Bahr is encouraged by the results of the final stretch of the fall and is excited to compete in 2025:

"We've already put together a game plan for off-season and will be ready to hit the ground running in the spring."

The Women's Golf team will be back in action in February, with their first big competition being the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout at the Corica Park Golf Course in Alameda, California. More details about the spring portion of the season will be released when available.
