TACOMA, Wash. - Saint Martin's University Athletics showcased a commendable performance in the South Sound Cup against Pacific Lutheran on Monday. Led by a top finish from sophomore Kelsie Inouye, the Saints downed the Lutes by a team score of 323-355.
Inouye was in front with an impressive score of 74 (+2), contributing significantly to the team's overall performance. Following closely behind, Hannah White delivered a solid performance with a score of 77 (+5).
The team's depth was evident as Sabrina Poole (84), Jade Rebelo (87), and Abby Roll (90) all started their spring on a good note.
Reflecting on the match, Head Coach Anne Bahr expressed pride in the team's performance, stating, "I'm proud of how our team performed against PLU in the South Sound Cup. We've been working hard this spring and it was great to put all that practice to the test on a new course yesterday. I saw a lot of consistent shots and strong progress from all 5 players. We're looking forward to getting the spring season rolling on the road next week at CSU East Bay."
The Saints will head next to Hayward, California where they'll battle in the Cal State East Bay Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout. That event will take place on February 26th and 27th,
