The awards keep pouring in for the Saints as three Men's golfers and three women's golfers have been named to the 2024 GNAC All-Conference team.
The Men's roster saw tremendous output from their senior leader,
Max Turnquist, as he earned his fourth First-Team All-Conference nod to cap off an incredibly successful career with the Saints.
Kyle Erwin also gets to end his time as a Sainton high note, as he notches a Second-Team All-Conference nod. He is joined on the Second-Team by
Nick Ennis, who had an extremely impressive freshman year.
The Women's side also saw a lot of success this season, as sophomores
Kelsie Inouye and
Ashley Bruland continue their momentum from the previous season with back-to-back First-Team All-Conference honors.
Hannah White also had an impressive run in her junior year and was awarded a Second-Team All-Conference nod for her efforts.
Coach Anne Bahr had many good things to say about this year's honorees, as she enjoyed working with all of her golf athletes during the season.
"This caps off an incredible career for our senior, Max Turnquist, marking his fourth First Team All-Conference selection during his time at Saint Martin's, and back-to-back First Team selections for sophomores Kelsie and Ashley. For Hannah and Nick, being able to notch their first All-Conference selections is a great way to finish their year, and for Kyle Erwin to complete his career on this high note is a huge honor. It's a true testament to their consistent play and diligent practice throughout the year."
Coaching the men has been a new challenge for Bahr, but she's put together a landmark year for Saints Golf, stating that she's "so proud of our six All-Conference honorees. All of them have worked hard this year and the recognition is well-deserved." Bahr assumed oversight of the men's program just prior to the GNAC Tournament, and will be leading both programs in a full-time capacity next year.
