Boyd started the two-day endeavor on Monday, April 29 by hitting personal bests in the 100m (third place), long jump (sixth place), and outright winning the shot put portion of the competition with a throw of 13.08m (42' 11").
The redshirt senior rounded out his performance on the second day by placing second in the discus and hitting a new personal record in the pole vault with a measurement of 12' 6 ¾". Boyd caught fire in the javelin where he threw three personal bests in a row, and won the event with his final throw of 57.85m (189' 9").
We congratulate Andrew for his accomplishments and improvements throughout the season and his representation of the Saints' Track & Field program.
