LACEY, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Athletics Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the Class of 2025 Bob Grisham Hall of Fame and Hall of Honor inductees — Nate Baker (Baseball, '08), Jackson Hand (Track & Field, '19), Sam Munger (Softball, '15), and Jennifer Liedes (Women's Golf, '16). Rick and Karen Smith, long-time supporters of Saints Athletics, will be inducted into the Hall of Honor.

"Saint Martin's Athletics is proud to induct the 2025 Hall of Fame and Hall of Honor class, recognizing individuals whose time, effort, and commitment have left a lasting impact on our university," said Saint Martin's Director of Athletics Theresa Hanson. "This group represents excellence on and off the playing field, from record-setting student-athletes to supporters whose dedication has helped shape our athletics community. We are honored to celebrate their achievements and the legacy they have created at Saint Martin's."

Nate Baker — Baseball, 2004-08

One of the most accomplished hitters in Saint Martin's Baseball history, Nate Baker enters the Hall of Fame as the all-time leader in career batting average at the university (.357). A three-time All-Conference recipient, Baker has etched his name all across the Saint Martin's record book, including third all time in career runs (122) and on base percentage (.468). He provided a career full of consistent success at the plate, including the 2008 season in which he hit .387 and the 2006 season in which he totaled 61 hits — both totals rank third in their respective season record categories in the Saint Martin's record book.

"When I got the call from Theresa Hanson, I was both surprised and extremely honored," Baker said. "Getting the opportunity to play baseball at St Martin's and developing the life long friendships that came from that experience is something that I still cherish to this day. "

Jackson Hand — Track & Field, 2015-18

Jackson Hand recorded one of the top sprints careers in Saint Martin's Track & Field program history, garnering USTFCCCA All-West Region in indoor track twice in his career, and winning a GNAC title in the 200 meters in 2019. Hand holds numerous program records and etched his name all over the sprints category in the Saint Martin's record book. He holds the program record for the indoor 200 meters (21.92) , indoor 300 meters (35.61), indoor 400 meters (48.82), and indoor 500 meters (1:06.79). In outdoor, Hand holds top 10 marks in the 100 meters (8th)  ,200 meters (3rd), and 400 meters (6th).

Hand has helped set several elite program marks in indoor and outdoor relays, running in a leg of six out of the top 10 outdoor 4x100 meter relay teams, including the program record set in 2019. He competed with the 2018 outdoor 4x400 that holds the second all-time program mark, as well as the second- and third-ranked indoor 4x400 teams.

Samantha Munger — Softball, 2012-15

Samantha Munger's time in Lacey saw her become one of the most accomplished softball players in Saint Martin's and GNAC history, performing at an elite level in both the batter's box and pitcher's circle.

Across her career, Munger totaled 83 wins, ranking second all-time in the GNAC record book and best in program history. Recording 143 appearances, Munger made more pitching appearances than any other GNAC player in the history of the conference, while ranking second with 117 career starts, 100 complete games, and 778.2 innings pitched. Among Munger's multitude of records, she is the Saint Martin's all-time leader in shutouts with 19, ranking fifth all-time in GNAC history. She totaled 412 career strikeouts, a Saint Martin's record that ranks 12th in GNAC history.

Munger was just as effective as a hitter, holding the Saint Martin's record for career batting average (.406), which ranks 12th best in the GNAC record book. She totaled 294 hits,164 RBIs, and 396 total bases, each of which is a Saint Martin's program record — she ranks second all-time in the GNAC in career hits, just one hit behind the all-time record.

Defensively, Munger holds the Saint Martin's record for most career assists with 578.

Munger accumulated an assembly of awards across her career, including GNAC Pitcher of the Year (2013), First Team All-GNAC (2013), GNAC Tournament MVP (2013), NFCA Second Team All-West Region (2013), and Daktronics Second Team All-Region (2013).

"I am deeply honored to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at Saint Martin's University, an institution that played a significant role in shaping both my personal and professional journey," Munger said. "This recognition reflects not only my own dedication, but also the collective hard work and commitment of every teammate with whom I had the privilege to compete with over those four years."

Jennifer Watson (Liedes) — Women's Golf, 2013-16

During her time at Saint Martin's, Jennifer Liedes became one of the most accomplished women's golfers the program has ever seen. Averaging a career scoring average of 77.16 across 57 rounds played, Liedes accumulated eight career top-10 tournament finishes and three individual tournament wins, including an individual title at the 2014 Saint Martin's Invitational.

Liedes was a two-time All GNAC First-Team Selection, and earned Co-Golfer of the Year in 2014-15. She started off her career with a GNAC Newcomer of the Year recognition during the 2013-14 season.

"My time at Saint Martin's is something I have always been grateful for and proud of," Watson said. "It is a true honor to be recognized for being able to do what I loved."
