GOODYEAR, Ariz. — The Saint Martin's Men's Golf team concluded the 2026 regular season, competing at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona on April 6-7.
The Saints placed 19th in the team standings, posting a combined score of +10 across the three-round tournament. Christopher Gunlikson was the top golfer for the Saints for the second consecutive competition, recording a 218 (+2) across the tournament.
How It Happened
- Christopher Gunlikson finished 65th out of 103 golfers, recording a total score of 218 (+2). Gunlikson shot a 73 in both rounds one and two, and finished at par (72) in round two.
- Parker Sawatzky was the second golfer on the leaderboard for the Saints, posting a score of 219 (+3) for the tournament to place 71st. Sawatzky shot a 74 (+2) in the first round, before improving his scores to 72 (par) and 73 (+1) in the next two rounds.
- Carter Sheets posted a stellar score in round three, recording a 70 (-2) to conclude the tournament. He finished at 220 (+4) overall to place 78th.
- Rasmus Tamker recorded a 221 (+5) to place 83rd. His best round was the second, where he posted a 69 (-3).
- Gavin Klein concluded the efforts for the Saints, posting a 233 (+17). Klein posted his best score in the first round, where he finished 74 (+2).
