tthFERNDALE, Wash. — The Saint Martin's Cross Country program competed at the Bill Roe Classic in Ferndale, Washington on Saturday, September 26, hosted by Western Washington University.

The women's team scored 228 points to place ninth overall, and the men's team scored 252 points to place 10th.

Women's 6k

• Fresh off a career-best time and Saint of the Week honors, Kekaimalino Halpern led the Saints with a 20th-place finish, clocking in at 22:46.3
• Violet Dixon was the Saints' next finisher, placing 56th at 24:26.3.
• Samantha Schweppe logged a 24:56.1 to place 68th overall.
• Kadence Merritt (26:21.0) placed 75th and Taylor Ames (27:14.1) placed 78th.

Men's 8k

• Ryan Koenninger led the way for the Saints, placing 52nd with a time of 26:33.0
• Noe Ortega was the next finisher for the Saints, clocking in at 26:59.9 to place 64th.
• Matthias White placed 70th with a time of 27:12.0
• Tyler Scott (27:16.2) placed 75th and Jake Beck (27:17.6) came in 76th.
