Nichole Schroeder enters her first season as an assistant softball coach at Saint Martins University.

Schroeder brings Division I experience after spending the last three years as a graduate manager for the University of Texas softball team under head coach, Mike White. During her time in Texas, the Longhorns made it to the Super Regionals in 2019 and 2021. She earned her master’s degree in Social Work with a military concentration and is a licensed independent clinical social worker.

A student-athlete, Schroeder was recruited to play softball at Long Island University in New York City (Division I). Schroeder’s career there was highlighted by a clutch RBI double in a 2014 game to break up no. 11 Kentucky’s no hitter. 

Schroeder finished her playing career at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. where she earned First Team All-Region as a catcher, had the 4th best batting average in the NWC (.419) and had the highest OBP in the NWC (.503) all during her senior year.

Schroeder graduated at PLU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

A native of Olympia, WA., Schroeder was an Olympia High School softball standout. She broke the school’s homerun record and earned All-Area Player of the Year in 2013.
