Jerad Stottlemyre

Stottlemyre is entering his third season as the assistant coach, helping SMU reach a 7-6 record during a shortened 2020-2021 season due to coronavirus. In his first season, SMU doubled their wins and achieved their first winning season in six years with a 14-13 record. Coach Stottlemyre primary responsibilities include scouting opponents, recruiting prospects, basketball analytics, social media management, basketball operations, and player development.

Stottlemyre spent the 2018-19 season at the University of Washington, serving under Jody Wynn, head coach of the Huskies' women's basketball program. At UW, Stottlemyre assisted in travel, scouting reports, tracking in-game statistics, post-game analysis, gathering practice statistics, and assisting the coaching staff in practice drills.

Before Stottlemyre interned at Washington, he spent over three years developing youth basketball players as a coach and private trainer for ScoutsFocus, Eastside Basketball Club, Breakthrough Basketball, and Newport Select Basketball.

He graduated from Washington in June of 2018 with a degree in Economics and with a minor in Mathematics. He concluded school with a 3.96 GPA and earned Magna Cum Laude honors.
