Thomas Rowswell joined the Saint Martin's coaching staff in December, 2019 and is entering his second season with the Saints. Rowswell came to Saint Martin's after serving on the Olympia High School varsity coaching staff from 2017-2019. Before his stint at Olympia, Rowswell was the head coach at Tumwater high school from 2013 through 2017. In four seasons, the T-Birds went 66-30 overall, won three straight league titles, and reached the State Tournament in 2016, where Tumwater finished fifth overall. He was named the Evergreen Conference Coach of the Year three times, and was voted The Olympian All-Area Coach of the Year in 2015. Before he took Tumwater to new heights, he was the head coach at Black Hills high school from 2007 through 2010. 

Rowswell also has coaching experience in the AAU circuit, coaching for six years with the Pioneer-Technologies (P-Tech) AAU Team.

Rowswell played college basketball for Saint Martin's from 2004 through 2006, where he graduated Magna Cum-Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. During his time at Saint Martin's, Rowswell started as a walk-on before rising to be named Co-Captain his senior year. He started his collegiate playing career at Whatcom Community College from 2001 to 2003, and graduated from Olympia High School in 2001.

Rowswell also has been a math teacher in the local area for over 13 years, teaching at Black Hills, Tumwater, and currently Reeves Middle School. Rowswell is joined by his wife and three daughters.
