ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – With a strong showing by
Kathryn Crimp and Kathrine Swor in the opening round of the Sonoma State Invitational, the Saints placed 11th after 18th holes.

Crimp once again was at the top of the Saints' leaderboard, and near the top of the overall leaderboard. Shooting a 4-over par 76, Crimp was tied for 13th overall in the field. Swor joined her teammate by breaking 80, with a 79 performance. Her efforts placed her tied for 33rd overall.
Following Crimp and Swor in scoring was
Michaela Morris and
Hoku Nagamine at 83 apiece. Rounding out the day for the Saints was
Madie Prigge and her 85 round.
"Today was a good team showing with our scores individually and as a team it was good to see all of the step up and play well," said head coach
Bob Grisham.
The Saints as a team shot 321 and slotted at 11th overall. In the final round, the Saints will look to catch Chico State (319), Menlo (317), and possibly Colorado Christian (315). The second round is scheduled to start on Tuesday morning. Results will be posted on smusaints.com.
