Swor Breaks Personal Record At Sonoma State Invitational Finale

ROHNERT PARK, Calif.Katherine Swor was the lone Saint to break the 80-mark as Saint Martin's struggled to find their rhythm at the final round of the Sonoma State Invitational.

Swor capped off the tournament with a career performance, shooting a career-low 157. After shooting 79 on Monday, Swor's 78 in round two placed her tied at the top of the team's leaderboard, and tied for 31st overall. Swor tied with her teammate Kathryn Crimp, who shot 76-81-157 for the team lead.
 
Following Swor and Crimp was Hoku Nagamine, who posted an 83-85-168 for the third best score for Saint Martin's. Rounding out the scorecard for Saint Martin's was Madison Prigge (85-86-171) and Michaela Morris (83-88-171).
 
"Kathrine (Swor) put together two solid rounds," said head coach Bob Grisham. "It was the best tourney in her career. As a team, our focus needs be more consistent individually, and as a team."
 
The Saints placed 13th overall on the team leaderboard, dropping two spots from Monday to Tuesday. Saint Martin's wraps up the fall season with a trip to Hawaii for the Dennis Rose Invitational on October 28-30.
