LACEY, Wash. – From the opening tip to the final buzzer, the 12th-ranked Alaska Anchorage Seawolves dominated the Saints on senior night, coasting to the 107-47 victory inside Marcus Pavilion.
Alaska Anchorage could not seem to miss an opportunity on the offensive or defensive end of the floor, shooting 58.1 percent from the field. The total mayhem defense caused issues for the Saints, resulting in 31 turnovers and 35 points off said turnovers.
Claire Dingus proved to be one of the few bright spots for the Saints, as the freshman shot the ball efficiently, going 5-for-7 for 16 points and five rebounds.
Bria Thames added 11 points and nearly completed another double-double with nine rebounds.
Makenna Schultz came off the bench for seven points.
Saint Martin's struggled to find its' shot all night, going 14-for-46 (30.4 percent) from the field, 3-for-18 (16.7 percent) beyond the arc, and 16-for-26 (61.5 percent) at the free throw line.
