WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – In the final round of the 2021 fall season, and Dennis Rose Invitational, Saint Martin's caught fire.
Tyler Fitchett's one-under par helped the Saints to the tournament's second lowest score of the day.

Fitchett (72-72-69-213) led the Saints in all three rounds of the tournament, made a leap up the leaderboard in the final 18 holes. The lefty placed tenth overall in the field of 70 golfers, and his score of 69 was tied for the fourth lowest of any golfer in the round.
Dennis Geissler (75-75-73-223) was second the team overall in the tournament, and carded two birdies on the day.
Nick Baker (74-79-72-225), and
Carter Sheets (82-76-71-239) finished the tournament with a strong showing, combining for seven birdies.
Ethan Finau (73-82-80-235) closed out the scorecard for the Saints.
"We finally found some form of last season and played smart golf today," said head coach
Kevin Bishop. "We reduced our unforced errors and valued the importance of each stroke. Tyler (Fitchett) had another solid performance, and it was nice to see our freshman, Sheets, put together a good round."
Saint Martin's placed ninth overall on the team leaderboard with a score of 881. The Saints edged out UT Tyler (893), Northwest Nazarene (907), and Chaminade (944) in the standings.
Winning the event was Colorado Christian (839), followed by Western New Mexico and San Bernardino for second and third. Cam Sandland from Colorado Christian won the individual championship with a score of 203.
