LACEY, Wash. – Add another two double-doubles to career stat line, along with another GNAC Player of the Week for Claire Dingus, as the junior headlined the Saints' three GNAC Player of the Week selections on Monday.

COMPLETE RELEASE

Joining Dingus was Kylee Vanderbout, and Tia Ridings from Saints' Softball as the two swept the GNAC Batter and Pitcher of the Year awards respectively.

For the third time in four weeks, Dingus was recognized for her performances on the court. Averaging 22.5 points per game, 12.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists per game, and 3.5 steals per game, Northwest has zero answer on how to stop Dingus. The week began with 20-point, 10-rebound outing, along with five steals, and three assists. The Saints rolled to a 94-to-55 beating of Northwest on Friday to open play. On Saturday, Dingus went off for 25 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists to cap-off the 84-to-59 win.

Despite not nearly playing a game in 365 days, Saints' softball came out on fire against Pacific in their Saturday doubleheader. Kylee Vanderbout connected on two game-changing hits in the doubleheader, starting with a bases-loaded double that drove in three runs, and broke open the first game. The Saints went on to win 10-to-3. She then provided all the run support Ridings needed in the second game, hitting a two-run blast in the second inning to cap off her five RBI day.

In her first ever collegiate game, Ridings made Saints' history. The lefty pitched a complete game shutout, only allowing five hits, and striking out five. Ridings blanked the Boxers, and led the Saints to a 3-0 victory and doubleheader sweep.

For Dingus, the award marks the third of the season, and third in her career. For Vanderbout and Ridings, the awards are the first of their career.
