BELLINGHAM, Wash. – After Anna Kasner of Western Washington tossed a perfect game in the opener,
Abby Runyon returned with a 1-run complete game to help Saint Martin's split on the day.

The Saints wasted no time in the game, scoring almost immediately. In the top of the second,
Emery Norwood drove in the first run on a bases-loaded single to left field.
After Western Washington tied the game in the bottom of the second,
Britney Patrick delivered what proved to be the game-winning runs. The freshman drove in two on a RBI single to right center, in the top of the fourth.
Later in the inning,
Devyn Connolly and
Julia Lucas drove in two more and the Saints extended their lead to 5-to-1.
Destiny Conerly drove in an insurance run in the fifth to help secure the 6-to-1 victory.
