Falcons Spoil Saints' Season Finale

SEATTLE – In the final game of the season, Goy Wang scored a career-high 14 points in the Saints' loss on the road to Seattle Pacific.

Seattle Pacific (10-3) hit the first basket of the game at the 16:50 mark and never gave up the lead. Saint Martin's struggled to find their footing on the offensive end, shooting 35 percent as a team and just 21 percent beyond the arc.

The Saints hit their first basket five minutes into the game on a Josh Camper layup. SMU got within two but it was the closest they got for the rest of the game.

Seattle Pacific managed to open up a 14-point by halftime, and cruised to a 34-point victory in the second half.

Wang scored his 14 points on 5-for-7 field goals, along with four rebounds, and two steals. Tyke Thompson nearly got to a double-double with his 10 points, and nine rebounds, while Seth Coddington came off the bench for 10 points.

Saint Martin's finished the 2021 season with a 2-10 record.
