LIVERMORE, Calif. – Behind strong performances from
Tyler Fitchett and
Jordan Terada, the Saints finished seventh at the Nighthawks Invitational on Tuesday.
Fitchett and Terada both repeated their efforts in the opening round, shooting 76 in both rounds to finish 152 overall and tied for 12th on the leaderboards.
Max Turnquist was unable to lead the Saints in the second round like he did in the first, going from a team-low 74 to a team-high 80. His 154 was third best on the team and placed him tied for 18th overall.
Nick Baker started strong, shooting three under through five holes, but slipped down the stretch to finish seven over at 79.
Dennis Geissler bounced back strong, dropping seven strokes off his score, going from 86 to 79 on the final day.
The Saints as a team shot 310 on the second day and finished 617 overall and 7th on the team leader board. Winning the tournament was Western Washington with a score of 310.
