LACEY, Wash. – After a pair of wins in the SMU Conference Challenge, the Saints got to relax a bit and expand their rotation in their 40-point, 94-44 win over Douglas College.

The highlight of the night for Saint Martin's (3-0,0-0) was, not only did all 13 active players get playing time but all of them also recorded at least one field goal in the game. Byrcen Dillworth had a noteworthy game as the Saints reserve point guard, contributing an impressive 11 points on a perfect 5/5 shooting to go along with his six assists in 22 minutes of playing time.
Champ Spencer led the scoring column with 14 points going six for 10 from the field. Behind him, was Hunter Sipe who scored 11 on four for six shooting from the field including three for four from deep and
Marcus Lenker who went four for seven from the field and two for four from deep for 10 points. Nathaniel Stokes played limited minutes but still managed to finish just short of a double-double with nine point and nine rebounds.

The Royal struck first, opening the game with a quick three pointer to get themselves on the board. The Saints quickly responded with a three of their own from Branden Bunn to score the ceremonial first basket. From here the game gradually shifted away from Douglas College as the Saints went on a 49-15 run to end the half with a 52-18 lead heading into the locker rooms.

Coming into the second half it was more of the same as the Saints pushed their lead and allowed their rotational players to gain valuable experience heading into the season. SMU cruised to a 94-44 win.
