PORTLAND, Oreg. – The Great Northwest Athletic Conference has announced their postseason awards for women's volleyball. The Saint Martin's squad was represented by lone selection in the form of sophomore outside hitter Tia Allen. This is her first All-GNAC selection.

This season was one of tremendous success for Allen as she was the top attacker on a squad of Saints that won the most games in school history. After a successful freshman year, Allen turned it into overdrive right out of the gates in late August. Before the end of the month, she had 73 kills. By the time the Saints finished their winning streak of nine straight games to start the season, she had 119 kills. Out of 28 games this season, 17 had her in double-digit kills, 13 with double-digit digs.

In total, Allen had team bests in almost every offensive category, including points (367.0), points per set (3.60), kills (329), and kills per set (3.23). She was also second in digs (292), third in aces (24), fifth in blocks and fifth in assists. Among the conference, she found her way into three top-20 leaderboards, including fourth in the GNAC in kills, fifth in points, and 15th in digs. The Communications Studies major from Clayton, Washington was also an all-academic selection with a 3.51 GPA.
