Hall of Honor
2013 Softball Team
The 2013 Saint Martin's team was a force to be reckoned with on their way to unprecedented success for SMU softball on a conference and national level. They became the first Saint Martin's softball team to win the regular season and tournament GNAC championship, as well as the first in program history to win games at the NCAA tournament. Outscoring their opponents by a total of 320-195, the Saints set the brand for what SMU softball would become, with the team producing winning seasons in all but one year since 2013. The 2013 squad still holds the record for wins in a season with 41.

Mike and Jeannie Dahl
The Dahl's have been integral members of the Saint Martin's community for decades and they will be inducted into the Hall of Honor in February under the category of "Outstanding Contributors." Outstanding contributors are those who, in some manner, made significant impact, special recognition, and/or an extraordinary contribution to the success or furthering of Saints Athletics. To those who know them, there is no doubt that Mike and Jeannie fit that description to a tee. As longtime men's and women's basketball season ticket holders, the Dahls rarely miss a game at Marcus Pavilion, and have turned their kids and grandkids into SMU passionate SMU fans in the process. Even through difficult health problems, the Dahls remained steadfast in finding their way down to campus to cheer on the Saints. As their nomination put it, "Saints blood runs deep in the Dahl family."
