Tyler Fitchett led the Saints with an even-par score of 144 and tied for ninth overall on Monday.

Fitchett (71-73) began the day going one-under par largely due to his strong finish. On four of the final five holes, Fitchett made par or better, including an eagle on hole four. After an early double-bogey in round two, Fitchett responded with par play to finish the second round at 73 and his 144 placed him top ten on the leaderboard.
Max Turnquist (76-72) jumped to second place on the team after finishing four-over par in the opening round and rebounding with a 72 even par to finish the day. His second round included a team-high five birdies.
Jordan Terada (75-77) and
Dennis Geissler (79-75) finished at 152 and 154 total respectively.
Carter Sheets (83-83) will look for a bounce back in the final round tomorrow.
As a team, Saint Martin's finished the day tied for seventh overall with a score of 301-297-598. The Saints were one of only four teams to shot a sub-300 in the second round, and a 297 was tied for the second best score of the round.
"For our first tournament of the spring, I was very pleased with our focus throughout the day," said head coach
Kevin Bishop. "Ten hours on a tough golf course will test your mental toughness. The final round will be competitive tomorrow."
