PUEBLO, Colo. – Playing in windy conditions at the Southern Colorado Masters, the Saints had multiple strong single round performances in the opening rounds.

Tyler Fitchett (71-77-148) led the way for the Saints, shooting one-under par in the first round, including a blistering four-under par 32 on the back nine. Fitchett recorded eight birdies on the day, along with an eagle on the 13th hole in the second round.
Max Turnquist (69-80-149) put together the lowest round of any Saint in the first round, finishing three-under par. In the first round, Turnquist went for three birdies and 15 pars.
Dennis Geissler (77-77-154) and
Ethan Finau (80-74-154) tied for third on the team, while
Kody Lamb (90-82-172) closed out the scoring for the Saints.
As a team, Saint Martin's finished the day in 10th in the highly competitive field, edging out Colorado Christian by 19 strokes, and South Dakota School of Mines by a staggering 36 strokes.
