LACEY, Wash. – For the first time since 2017, Saint Martin's scored 100 in a conference game and secured a statement win over Alaska Anchorage, 100-73.
The SMU offense was blistering-hot shooting 51% from downtown and connecting on a Saint Martin's record 22 made threes from nine different Saints.
Christian Haffner led the charge with 17 points on 5/7 shooting from beyond-the-arc.
Champ Spencer was also locked in, shooting 4-7 from long range for a 12 point night.

Saint Martin's wasted no time and opened the game with a 13-2 run. The Seawolves fought back and trimmed the deficit to one possession before SMU went on a massive 46-17 run that lasted the rest of the half. The Saints went into the half with a 61-29 lead.
The Saints opened the second half with a 24-8 run and held their largest lead of the night at 48, 85-37. The Saints took their foot off the gas, UAA brought the deficit to respectable margin and Saint Martin's secured a 100-73 win.

Aaron Landon praised his team performance with, "Tonight we enjoyed one of the greatest shooting displays I've ever seen, our guys spread the ball and got each other great shots. More importantly we took another step forward defensively tonight, I thought our guys were fantastic with their responsibilities on the defensive end and that was our main focus entering this game."
