SEATTLE, Wash. – The Saint Martin's women's soccer team (3-3-3, 1-2-2 GNAC) came up just short against Seattle Pacific (7-2-1, 4-0-1 GNAC) on Thursday afternoon, falling by a score of 1-0.
The lone goal for SPU came in the 27
th minute with a shot just slotted into the SMU net. Saints goalkeeper
Ali Campigotto had a very solid outing for the majority of the 90 minutes, making a total of six saves between the pipes. The lone shot on goal for Saint Martin's came from
Sam Bailey, while
Inara Lopes and Bri Yamada also had shots for the Saints.
SMU stays on the road with a matchup at Montana State Billings this Saturday, October 7
th. Kickoff will come at 1 PM in the Big Sky State.
