LACEY, Wash. – The Saint Martin's women's basketball team (2-3) grinded out a gritty 59-51 over Evergreen State in the first ever Sofie's Scoops Crosstown Classic.
The Saints found themselves trailing most of the contest until a second half surge got them back in the picture.
Sarah Lamet led all scorers with 19 down the stretch, while
Anjel Galbraith chipped in 15 points, six rebounds, five steaks, and four assists.
Lauryn Morris and Lamet both came up just a hair short of a double-double, getting nine rebounds each, while Morris had nine points.
The Saints now head on the road Friday, November 24
th, where they will take on Cal State San Marcos at 4 PM.
