LACEY, Wash. – The Saint Martin's men's basketball team (8-1, 1-1 GNAC) stood tall Saturday night after an upset loss to NNU on Thursday. The Saints responded by withstanding a valiant effort from Central Washington (5-3, 1-1 GNAC) to win 68-59 over the Wildcats on Saturday night.
Four different Saints finished in double figures led by
Kyle Greeley, who had 14.
Jayshawn Moore and
Myles Samuels each had 12, while
Jaden Nielsen-Skinner had 11. In just 14 minutes played,
Shakeem Alcindor won the rebounding battle with eight total, Greely had seven and Moore had six. Nielsen-Skinner had three assists.
The Saints now take a month off from GNAC play, but do have some non-conference clashes including a battle with Evergreen State on Wednesday, December 6
th. Tipoff is set for 7 PM at Marcus Pavilion.
