LACEY, Wash. – The Saint Martin's women's basketball team (9-16, 5-12 GNAC) stumbled on Thursday evening in a matchup with Central Washington (20-6, 12-5 GNAC), falling by a score of 100-74.
The Wildcats shot 59% from the field and knocked down 14 threes, making defense the biggest obstacle for Saint Martin's. Offensively, the Saints came together and were able to tally 22 points from
Anjel Galbraith who led all scorers, as she also came within one assist of a double-double.
Lauryn Morris has 14 points to go with five boards, while
Rian Clear had 13.
The Saints will close out their season on Saturday, February 24
th as they take on Northwest Nazarene (11-14, 7-10 GNAC) for Senior Night and Homecoming. Tipoff is set for 5:15 PM at Marcus Pavilion.
