MONMOUTH, Ore. – The Saints relied on the strength of their distance runners at the John Knight Classic, led by Alauna Carsten's win in the 1500m.

Carstens won the women's 1500m with a time of 4:46.74. Her teammate, Naomi Hartley finished fifth with a time of 5:00.93.
 
In the men's 1500m Isaac Cortes finished second with a time of 3:56.98 and Kainalu Pagente finished fifth with a time of 3:59.93.
 
In the men's 5000m, Eli Dale finished second with a time of 15:49.46 and Jaskaran Dhatt finished fifth with a time of 16:26.98.
 
In the women's 5000m Sara Sabra placed second with a time of 17:43.67, Kya Ramirez placed fourth with a time of 18:54.22 and Abby Burton finished eighth with a time of 20:47.73.
 
Margaret Zilla represented the Saint Martin's in the 100m and placed sixth with a time of 13.18.
 
In the men's javelin throw, Ethan Guidry placed fourth with a mark of 51.60m (169-ft, 3-in).
 
The Saints next meet will be the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate at Long Beach University on Thursday, April 13th.
